Alchemy Records is a one-of-a-kind vinyl shop in San Marcos, TX, known for its rare and collectible records, eclectic catalog, and strong presence in the local and national vinyl community. When the owner set out to launch the store, I partnered with him to shape a brand identity that matched the shop’s bold, music-driven personality. I designed a fresh logo and visual toolkit that became the backbone of Alchemy’s look, then expanded it into signage, banners, and merchandise to boost visibility both in-store and at trade shows.

Beyond the core branding, I collaborated on posters and promotional materials for events like Record Store Day and other community happenings, helping Alchemy connect with music fans in a memorable way. I also designed a full trade show booth that gave the shop a professional, eye-catching presence at vinyl expos across the country. My partnership with the owner actually started years earlier with his first record business, Bad Ingredients, where I developed their brand and visual identity as well — so this project felt like building on a creative legacy we had already started together.
